ON THE ROAD | Baja California Surf Adventures July 2019

Exploring several remote right pointbreaks in Baja California

July is usually the month of change in Baja. The annual wildflowers of the north begin to dry out as long period south swell and hurricanes usher in warmer water along the southern Baja coastlines. These equalizing water and air temperatures produce more predictable wind patterns, and beautiful sunny skies for days on end. July 2019 was no exception, recording a 6-10 degree increase in water temperatures, 3 hurricanes and a couple tropical storms, along with several long period south swells, with more to come.
